We navigated our design from Native’s interest in products that are integrable into any existing home system and asked how we could create a conscious solution. Our challenge was to develop a prototype that:

  • Reconnect to nature with minimal changes to their daily routine

  • Appeal to a wide range of users from many backgrounds and walks of life

  • Offers simplicity and functional

Our research began with site visits to local gardening communities like Sunshine Community Garden and interactions with organizations like UT Farmstand. We conducted 7 user interviews to understand the scope of the challenge and gain insights into their experience:
